Iconic Ecotourism had the honor of assisting a significant research project focused on the Bengal Tiger of the Sundarbans. The study aimed to collect DNA samples to better understand the species’ characteristics, lifestyle, behavior, and adaptation to the unique mangrove ecosystem. This research is vital for the long-term conservation of the Royal Bengal Tiger, a symbol of strength and survival whose existence is deeply tied to the health of the Sundarbans.

Our role included providing logistical support, location tracking, and on-field assistance to ensure that the research team could work efficiently in the challenging conditions of the forest. From guiding them through tiger-prone zones to facilitating safe operations and essential field arrangements, we ensured that the project moved forward smoothly. By supporting this expedition, Iconic Ecotourism contributed to a deeper scientific understanding of the Bengal Tiger and reaffirmed its commitment to the preservation of one of the world’s most iconic species.
